KundaliniYoga
Kundalini Yoga is a unified and holistic system that enhances energy, self-awareness, and health—physically, mentally, and emotionally. The practice helps create a balance between tension and relaxation and is suitable for all ages and physical abilities.
Kundalini Yoga combines conscious breathing, physical movements and postures, focus, mantras, relaxation, and meditation. The exercises usually consist of rhythmic, energizing movements performed in sitting, standing, kneeling, and lying positions, combined with various breathing techniques, focus exercises, body locks, and mantras. Most sessions include exercises designed to reduce stress levels in the body.
Most of the exercises are gentle and easy to learn. More physically demanding postures can usually be modified so that you can adapt them to your own abilities. My teaching approach encourages you to work from your own level, finding your own rhythm in tune with your breath and capacity.
You do not need to be flexible to practice Kundalini Yoga; flexibility is often a natural result of regular practice.
Although the techniques are simple, the practice can still be physically challenging and require endurance, building strength, stamina, and mobility. Each yoga session is designed to release blockages on many levels, allowing life energy to flow freely. In my view, the primary purpose of Kundalini Yoga is to cultivate inner peace and self-acceptance.
The well-developed techniques of Kundalini Yoga provide tools to listen inwardly and get to know ourselves deeply, becoming more aware of our needs and our own potential. By consciously slowing down the breath, we gain greater control over our emotions and thoughts, enabling us to act more mindfully and less under the influence of external stress.
Above all, Kundalini Yoga is an expression of self-love.You work gently with yourself, meet whatever arises within you with curiosity, humility, and acceptance, and take good care of yourself.
